Your LotWorks Account provides access to multiple dashboards and systems through a single secure login. Because a single account can unlock broad access, maintaining strong password habits is essential.
Use Strong Passphrases
Choose long, memorable passphrases instead of short, complex passwords. These are easier to remember and significantly harder to crack.
Examples:
Weak:
Tr0ub4dor&3— cracked in daysStrong:
correcthorsebatterystaple— estimated hundreds of years to crack
Good passphrases:
Are at least 12–16 characters
Combine unrelated words
Avoid predictable substitutions (such as using @ for a)
What Not To Use
Avoid these entirely:
Your username or email
Common passwords (
1234,password,admin,guest)Personal information (birthdates, phone numbers, family names)
Single dictionary words without added complexity
Protect Admin Accounts
Admin profiles have elevated abilities such as adding users, adjusting permissions, or generating sensitive reports. Use them sparingly, store credentials securely, and limit access to essential staff only.
Review Access Regularly
Update or disable accounts when staff change roles or leave
Provide basic training on safe password practices — most breaches stem from human error
Confirm that users only have the access they need for their role
Forgotten Passwords
If you forget your password:
On the LotWorks Account sign-in page, enter your email and select Trouble Signing In?
Open the password reset link sent to your verified email and follow the on-screen steps.
Note: Your Land Developer and the LotWorks Support Team cannot see or reset your password.
