Website Maps - Side Panel Options – LotWorks Help Center

The side panel refers to the information window that opens when a user clicks on a lot on the public website map. There are different ways to configure this side panel, depending on what information is required.

Default LotWorks Information

This is the standard implementation for a LotWorks public map. Clicking on a lot brings up a panel that displays a logo for either the builder or developer, and basic lot information (address, lot type, size, etc.)

Builder branding is set on the Builder record,
Developer branding is set on the Community record.

Basic contact information (email and/or phone) for the builder may also be displayed.

Enhanced Registration Form

LotWorks Develop Only
This built-in registration form requires a LotWorks Develop system, and the Assigned Builders.

This version of the side panel form includes the ability for visitors to the website to reach out to home builders for more information about the lots they are interested in. The information displayed is the same but there is an added section below that allows the visitor to select their builder and request more information.

Contact information is automatically emailed to the assigned builder or developer.

Custom Side Panel

Note: This option requires technical web hosting knowledge, and setup requires review and coordination with Blueprint to complete.

This version replaces the standard LotWorks side panel page with an entirely custom and self-hosted URL page that can pull in LotWorks information using our embed API and extensive URL parameters. The structure and design of this custom side panel is entirely in your control and can be designed to match your website and needs. Customers typically use this to host their own registration form that can link directly to their CRM, or to display information about the quick possession or spec home on the lot.
