Inspections
(Accessed on an individual lot basis through lot details, map, or dashboard)
While not a mandatory part of the lot event process, Initial Inspections are used to determine the parties responsible for damage to a lot. LotWorks will send automatic notifications to builders that an initial inspection is available and their site supervisors will be able to submit inspection forms.
If an inspection isn't filled out within the allotted time (Related Article: Why did my inspection expire?), the builder site supervisor will be notified that they have missed their inspection submission window and will therefore be held liable for any damages discovered.
Final inspections are triggered based on possession date or 365 days (may change depending on zoning) after architectural approval. Builders will have 21 days to submit their inspection.
