Why am I being warned LotWorks is "Not Secure"? Why am I being warned LotWorks is "Not Secure"? This is a warning from Chrome and does not indicate there is an issue with LotWorks, or your connection. You can continue to use LotWorks with confidence. To help users browse the web safely, Chrome indicates connection security with an icon in the address bar. In the past, Chrome did not explicitly label HTTP connections as non-secure. Beginning in January 2017 (Chrome 56), this has changed, and HTTP pages are now being displayed as non-secure, as part of a long-term plan to mark all HTTP sites as non-secure. Since the Chrome 56 upgrades, Google has continued to take gradual steps to make the "Not secure" warning more visible, and increasingly more stringent in nature. Future releases will expand these warnings to Google Chrome's "Incognito Mode" with all HTTP pages eventually being very visibly displayed as "Non secure": This warning doesn't mean that LotWorks isn't secure. You still need a valid username/password to access the data. We also have up-to-date patches on our servers and best practices in our own server controls and password management.
